I have never seen a poor farmer and I have never seen a poor gun dealer! Have you? It's the 20% VAT I dislike paying - I will be posting my latest order to folks can decide for themselves where they want to shop. Even with duty and shipping paid it still works out a fair chunk cheaper than shopping here & if folks can buy the same product cheaper they will - regardless of where it comes from. simples.... Sorry if the post offended you but I get sick of getting ripped off in this country as do many thousands of other shooters out there. The post was intended to help those that have looked at the site but found a lot of products out of stock, simple as that. The site is for reloaders only and there are no reloading gun shops within 50 miles of here, I dont have much choice. BTW Powders and Primers are not shipped from this supplier due to the high shipping charges. Just as a matter of point; I am all for buying british and supporting our british farmers, buying locally produced food, great british farmers markets etc but for some imported items "like reloading kit" what difference does it make - none of it is british its all american or european and the only people that profit from its import to the UK is the good old british government - what is the saying "the only 2 things you can guarantee in this life is death and taxes" ttfn have a nice day. graysclassics
by the way a indipendent gun dealer isnt a big land owner is it,or do they all own estates in Yorkshire" I was getting a bit off topic what that comment, its just that Farmers are always banging on about how "poor" they are even the ones I work for - they dont know the meaning of the word! Long live British Gun Shops!

I have met many and they are the vast majority!!!! Oh I see, must be your part of the world, they are all absolutely loaded in these parts, the nearest gun shop has just opened a new branch. Check out the dealers in the S.E. - they are not at all poor. That's why I try not to shop there at £30 a box of 20 .243.
graysclassics
Dont forget that I live in part of the country where the lovely chaps at whitehall want to charge me £100 per day as from next year just to drive my landrover into town! I am not fortunate enough to live in a decent part of the country.

Yes I am a Jock as it happens... proud to be Scottish and no I am not tight as my friends will testify - I just bought 14 of us several pints on sunday at a shoot meeting - dont mind spending money, just want to get the best out of it! I'm not a teenager either, coming up 50 this year, I know what things cost - its just that I would rather pay $300 than £300 for the same thing. Its what I call common sense. LOL so I was correct a Scots man,I know what your saying on saving money fair enough if your spending hundreds of pounds in one go and you can save a few quid i can understand shopping over the water, but we must support out local shops as they wont be there when we need them,at the end of the day you get paid for what ever you do and Iam sure your boss is making much more off your hard work, how would you feel if he sacked you for a foreign worker who will take hald what hes pays you works both way
