spiceychilli57
Was at a clay shoot the last weekend and followed a guy and his daughter round. He was using an right handed 12g o/u and she was using a left handed left ejecting 20g hatsan, which is fair enough but she was right handed  :hmm: I asked the guy about the gun as a friend has been looking for a left hand ejector for his son, he said he bought it for her and it does the same as having a right hand ejector After reading an article about semis in a basc magazine which one comment made by coaches was its really bad to shoot a semi that ejects cartridges the same side as your face as it can damge your eyes. Which seems logical as hot gas in the eye cant be good. When this was mentioned to the guy he denied it by a rough shake of the head and 'nah doesnt matter' :o i was pretty shocked he didnt feel his daughters eyes werent worth 'bothering ' about! Anybody else use a left hand ejector right handed? or feel this is wrong? Spicer

motty
I have caught a bit of **** in the eye from ejected cartridges in my xtrema. I'm right handed and it ejects right handed. It was annoying more than anything. I've also caught a glimpse of the flame in the chamber as it ejects from time to time.
spiceychilli57
My friends lefty son who is after a left ejector semi used to shoot a right ejector remi 1100. He said now he thinks about it towards the end of a shoot his eyes used to become really sore and dried out. Now he wears glasses everytime he shoots with it to protect hie eyes until he can find another gun. He didnt think it was worth risking his sight to use his current gun without glasses
