sutty
I have a 10/22 with a synthetic stock and was wondering what differences are there between it and the houge stocks (if any), with regard to size ,feel etc. The one i have seems a little short, is the Hogue any longer in the butt section. Thanks in advance! Cheers Sutty
the last engineer
quite a difference in my opinion, the houge has a very comfortable grip over the synthetic, another plus is moisture/water/mud will not alter your confidence in the grip you have, one of my 1022's has a houge the other a laminated stock, the synthetic's are not for me, to hard and plasticy IMO, the only thing to be aware of is the aftermarket houge, i have seen a few that after bad packaging and shipping, have a warped plate that will not allow the gun to couple and function correctly, check before you buy. just my preferences. Martin Agreed. I've had both on my 10/22 and settled on the Hogue. It's robust, the rubberised finish gives a good grip and its very forgiving if you knock it. To my mind they should come with the stock as standard. I was that impressed that I got one for my Parker Hale .243. Dave
apbuild
Hogue for 10/22 is simply the best.
