NPPC - Best Time To Join

As the title says; what is the best time of year to get value for money when joining NPPC?

 

As all seems pretty quiet out there at the moment, is it better to hold off till late summer?

I know where your comming from but if like me you had nowhere else to shoot and you lived in an area that had too many shooters and not enough farmers willing to let you loose on their land with a gun, NPPC is a great way to get experience. There are other clubs that have plenty of land but they usually have long waiting lists.I've had some great days on NPPC permissions even though it was mainy Corvids I gained valuable experience.

For me, can't fault it.

 

I have about 1200 acres in total, but just rabbit and fox, no crops and as such no pigeons.

 

Only been with them just over a month and it's worth every penny :yes:

Around Middleton Tyas at the moment, a few bare patches to set up on.

 

Only 3 rabbits and a couple of crows the other day, pigeons were a bit fast for me
