No, they just said that as they’ve just reopened they are not seeking new members at this time. Like you I would have thought they’d have wanted as many as possible right now.

I've been back in the last few days and the bins for cartridges are now back in situ, though it does appear plenty of folks are incapable of picking up after themselves.

I've just visited this weekend as my son wanted to have a go a clays. So we booked an instructor for him and he had a lesson which he enjoyed, I personally like the place but it was very quiet and as has been said its littered with cartridges. They told me this was due to COVID that the bins had been removed, but not sure how that works out. One advantage to it being quiet, was my lad didn't feel pressured by people watching and he could take his time as no one chasing him off the stands. Prices are now 36p a clay and 25p for members but membership is currently closed.

Good morning. Not so much a new member, but a member who it seems was last here in 2014. (Can't believe it has been that long) After several years away from shooting, I am now returning. I had to stop shooting due to work and family commitments both of which conspired to give me little to no time to shoot. That's now changed due to a grown up kid, a wife who has retired and a dog that sleeps all day 😄 I'm currently awaiting my licence renewal, which hopefully should be soon as just had my visit then I can get out and restock the cabinets. I'll be heading back to the clays at Park Lodge once we are all released from lockdown, to try and get my eye in. The I'll take it from there and see if I want to be getting up in the early hours, to go shoot some fields when offers are available. This gun is "cast on" I believe it is referred to. The cast is very slight indeed, nothing dramatic hence my inability to see it when I bought it from McAvoys. That along with it being sold as right handed! £265

This is me and having just had the gun looked over by a potential buyer, I now understand why I couldn't hit much with it. Despite being told it was right handed when I bought it, it actually appears to have a left bias to it. So, probably more suited to a left handed buyer!

Not sure of the rating, it was new only 12 months ago when we had the garage converted to a lounge. It is RCD protected I know that.

I think I might just get an electrician out for the sake of a few quid... Sounds like it could be a disaster waiting to happen if I try to make adjustments to the setup.

It was installed by an electrician..... The 1st switch in the gang is to override the PIR as we don't want it kicking in when we're sat out. The 2nd switch is to turn on the down lighters around the patio.

Put in new sockets and the usual electrical bits and pieces, but installing a new light switch directly from the fuse box is new to me.

After a bit of advice from an electrician as a bit stuck! I have an outside security light that is wired straight from the main fuse box, no switch in between. I'm wanting to install a 2 gang switch, 1st switch to over ride this light and then the 2nd to control some other lights outside. I thought and I might be still right the is straightforward. Do I run the main power cable straight into the 2 gang switch? Then from there run a cable from the switch to the lights? I've searched net for a diagram, but can't find a relevant one as most seem to be from the USA. Any help would be appreciated before I crack on!
