Mark-70
When you send in the information to get a piece of land passed, how do you know when it's done? Do they send you conformation or do you just have to keep checking?
Frenchieboy
If it were me I would give it a week or two and then phone asking if there was any indication of your FEO's work load! A few polite words might speed things up but at the moment I have been told that it could take up to 8 weeks in our area of Lancashire as my FEO is bogged down with work! Different areas will have different time scales!

How long you had your license...could be an a good reason to apply for your open ticket.
Mark-70
I,ve only had my FAC for a few months so not much chance of being granted an open one unfortunatly . I shoot with a chap who has been granted an open on renewal, so when he starts to shoot elsewhere and I have to keep calling and checking all the time it may worth asking, they can only say no suppose. I sent in two land usage forms today, obviously containing the relevent info and such. Both are small private pieces of land for horses, totaling around 8 acres not exactly farm size but absolutley boiling with rabbits! Just wasnt sure weather they would let me know or weather I would have to keep checking. I'll let it go for two - three weeks and put in a call if I've not heard anything. Thanks for the info chaps.
