Flapper Battery

Hi,

I was lucky enough to win the flapper in the PigeonWatch North v South raffle. Having read the instructions it says use only the small battery pack from the supplier. Is there any reason why I can't use the battery I have for my spinner on it? I can't think of one to me 12v is 12v but it seems to be stated in a bit more of an important way than they just want you to buy their batttery.

what happened to Mr.Clays-spoil-my-eye-for-game then?? lol

BTW re the battery, i use a large lamping battery and it just about lasts an 8 hour trip, so you can get away with small.
