Rede2Kite
Hi as a recent beginner who has joined the world of the Airifle shooting fraternity, l was wondering if anybody knows of a good reliable website that sells CHEAP Air Arms Diablo Field .177 pellets (rather than me trying to trawl through copias amounts of websites and info and trying to find the best offer ! ?) .. Also are the Air Arms Diablo Field the best pellet l can use for my rifle or is there a better brand of pellet l can use ? i have an Air Arms 400F Classic Superlyte Hunter .177 with a Rowans Engineering Multi-Shot Mag Kit Edited May 31, 2011 by Rede2Kite

thegingeritalian
Hello, I would take a look at Fleabay, I use one particular eBay shop and I will post the details when I can remember the bloody name The only thing is say is look at for the postage costs as some will advertise at what appears to be a cheap rate but will claw it back on the postage. You can get sample packs and these can be handy and saves you the expense of buying a tin of pellets only to find you or your gun doesn't like them. If you find the Air Arms pellets do the job and give good groupings then stick with them otherwise take a look at RWS Superdomes, JSB Exacts or Crossman Accupels........all worthy contenders I'm my own opinion. You haven't said what sort of shooting you do but if you are going after live quarry then don't be tempted with cheap brands as their performance is questionable. Even pest species deserve a clean kill. That said, I hope you find this useful and welcome to the sport

thegingeritalian
Have a butchers at the JSB, Crossman and RWS range you shouldn't be disapointed. The chap I use on Fleabay can be found on the following link http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/shootingandscuba/?_trksid=p4340.l2559. If your using pre charged as well you may find this useful. I use one so I know how many shots I've taken and when the stick will need another gasp of air, the outer compartments hold 40 pellets and the larger inner compartments hold 55 (pellets are .177 JSB Exacts) Pocket Pellet Box ( .177 & .22 ) Carry Case - Pouch. Clubshot
Most Local Gun Shops Only buy in 10 Tins per time Trying to offer local customers a selection Mail Order Houses buy in by the Pallet - resulting in better prices But Lead is Heavy and cost £2-3 per tin to post - someone has to pay that Plus the Special packing so they do not get damaged in the post Another issue is Batch numbers - Can be seen in shops - but not when brought via mail order You pays your money it's your choice  Not a issue for me as get mine Direct from the Factory BOB/R

They will even advise you which is the preferred choice if you contact them beforehand. They specialise in target sports and naturally only stock JSB pellets as they are used by most is not all the top International target shooters, and luckily for us JSB pellets also are first class for hunting. No need to go to a factory and buy second rate pellets.
