Putting a Bipod on any Springer can have issues.

Many say it is pointless....NOT (necessarily) TRUE!

It can/will most certainly lead to a different shooting style, one which may well take a long time to get used to, and quite possibly give a different POI, but my lad was excellent with his on his Gamo Shadow.

So, don't leap into it, and also consider the technical aspects of the mounting itself, quite often very difficult on some springers.

The biggest issue to overcome with fitting a bipod to a TX200 is the underlever.

I prefer to use my game bag if getting down and dirty. The green bag is sold for trout fishing and has a pocket at the back where I put a gardener's foam kneeling pad that I use to sit on when the ground is wet. This pad gives the bag rigidity and allows the rifle to rest comfortably on it. The bag also shields most of you from the quarry's line of sight.

I've tried it and liked it. The problem would come down to P.O.I depending on how you hold your rifle... I rest mine gently on my palm rather than grip it, I find if you let the rifle recoil how it wants to rather than fight it, then your shots should be more consistent. My springer behaves exactly the same hand held or on a bipod. Personally I just use a bipod for long distance shots, usually with my pcp as its .177 ;)
