Kidney505
Well I let my friend have use of my S400 (he's a pretty trustable guy) anyway when he brought it back he said he had clened out the barrle for me and I asked how and told me he'd rodded it out then fired some fible cleaning pellet things down it and thats where the problem starts.... The fiber wads/ pellets appear to of disintigrated in the moderator and now the gun is shooting way off and the pellets seems to be firing in an unusually high arc (it's a .22 but still the arc is massive). Is there any way of stripping down and cleaning out a Air Arms moderator?

The ends of an air arms silencer unscrew. I just cant see how a bit of felt in it can make any differance. Check the pellet isnt clipping the edge of the silencer on exit. Forgot to metion the mod appears to be sealed but as its the slip on type I'm sure it's an official AA one. the gun shoots fine without the mod however. I tried to improve mine several years ago and a mate said slip a screwdriver down from the rear and knock the front off with a sharp tap from the inside. Several bigger tapps later, a blow torch and a hammer on the edge of a skip I discovered it was threaded. Looked like a ruddy blunderbus by the end of all that. Kidney505
This is one solid silencer I've heated it up for a good long while at temperatures that will certainly melt loctite and it refused to move
