B25Modelman
I am talking back in the 80's now. I had set up a hide which was on a sloping field, looking down over the main road from Dyce to Oldmeldrum. Nowt much happening with the birds and I was just car watching but also noticed a pair of dear in the field over the road. They were making for the road and jumped the stone wall just as a white van came along. The first dear was clear but the second.........BANG clean hit and kill by the white van man. There was nowt he could do about it..........but wait. He traveled on about 100 metres then all stop, into reverse back the the RK. Jumps out opens the back and humps the RK in then off he goes..........about his business. Waste not want not I think I mummbled to myself. Beardo
i'm pretty sure that's not true - we discussed this a few years ago and nobody could find any legislation stating it.
fuzzypigeon
I thought it applied to deer only as the meat was expensive and was to try and stop people deliberately not avoiding them so they could take the carcass home

Kidney505
I thought it applied to deer only as the meat was expensive and was to try and stop people deliberately not avoiding them so they could take the carcass home More expensive than the cost of repairing the damage to your car?
