  3. I have a croots double gun slip in leather that I bought back at the start of the 2021 season, it’s for 30” barrelled guns, having changed to 32”, (32” will fit but only on the first notch) it’s time to clear it out, been used on 5 occasions this season, cost over £700 when purchased back in October 21. £500 Ono takes it offers by PM please
  4. Camera, mount, hardcase, usb cable Allen key, all the standard equipment that comes with the new one
  5. Guys I have a shotkam for sale which I bought whilst I was in texas, was used for about 5 days last season but I’m due to go overseas again, so no point in keeping it. As I don’t get to do as much shooting due to being overseas so much £325 takes it
  6. I think Ireland by 10+ points today, wales should be a easier task than they had last week and England should win if they don’t make stupid errors
  7. I was surprised at how much we won the physical side in the tackle! Great game though!
  8. The French didnt play well, but the first half they didn’t make the silly mistakes that wales made and in fairness they deserved to be ahead, the second half the French bottled it when they came under pressure from wales. i think Ireland will frustrate England, but if England can make it a big pitch and use the width well they should get some success but if they try to bully Ireland I think Ireland will be too much for them.
  9. So gents, predictions for the games??
  10. If you can try a couple, I found it took me a while to get used to the extra effort required to get the gun moving on closer targets. I’m tempted by a parcours but I find that I enjoy my game shooting a lot with this gun....not the prettiest thing you can buy but it works for me
  11. Just wondered where others were taking their game days this season, looking for a little inspiration for the end of the season
  12. I personally haven’t been to this shoot but I have been to a fair few of the other high bird shoots, Whitfield being my favourite that I have visited so far. All i can say about the high bird shoots is this, I enjoy them! I’m not going to lie and say I don’t, that the whole reason we go shooting is because we enjoy it, i shoot some average shoots and to be honest on a 50-100 bird day I may pick my gun up to a couple of birds but there are plenty of guns out there who do not have the ability to let a bird pass them no matter how low or bad the bird is. To me this is far worse than high bird shooting. I shoot 32g 4’s most of the year, on a few shoots I will up this to 36g or even 40g 4’s but there are not many places I have felt the need.
  13. Plenty of cutting fluid! Very easy to burn drills out.....be patient. Use the best drills you can afford...as for material hss will do it but if you are too rough you will burn them out....drill speed is important on stainless...
  14. He was out on his feet, second punch was a free shot....
  15. Bowers & Wilkins T7 here.....fantastic quality sound!! Battery lasts ages too
  16. If I go somewhere where driven duck is part of the day (1 drive) I will only take 1 box of carts for that drive as I don't agree with a bag being filled by ducks on a pheasant or partridge day.
  17. check with the estate as many shoots don't allow plastic wads, which would rule out steel... but any gamebore steel in 3's would be up to the job
  18. I have one with the titanium pack it's ace although I'm selling mine as I want a parcours Only because I use mine for game more than anything else and it's a bit heavy to be dragging around all day
  19. I'll see if I can dig out the technical information sheet we were sent by the company a couple of years ago, they basically told all the field engineers not to use as a sub for oil or grease and not to leave any parts exposed after applying wd40, to apply grease to parts after wiping off any wd40 due to the rust that was being caused by it
