garygreengrass
I normally load and use 65gr v max and 41grn varget powder in my .243 mainly used for foxing, but my supplier had no 65gr v max heads so I had 58gr instead. Any body got a good powder weight for varget and 58gr v max heads. Thanks
garyb
I use varget in mine for 55grn and 58grn - pushes close to 4000fps Suggest you look at http://data.hodgdon.com/main_menu.asp Edited June 8, 2011 by garyb
al4x
thats a fair bit of varget with the 65's showing as maximum load it is also the starting load for 58's up to a max
garyb
H4895 is also very good in 243 with that weight range... I've got a load of 44grn of 4895 with 55grn Sierra Blitzkings, and its a cracking load and shoots a very similar POI to my usual 75grn Vmax / 37grn Varget load
tinytim38
43.5 grains varget with 58 grain tip in .243 is what I use for fox, man they make a mess  :o , and zero 1" high at 100 yds and you only get 1" drop from point of aim at 200 yds
