aister
i was looking for some advice/thoughts on castrating my 4 year old lab, is it likely to ruin him? he is a very good dog but so stubborn and overly. i am on the verge of looking for another dog and getting rid of him but cant bear the thought of it. chris o
i had the same problem mate with my springer. he was very head strong stubborn and aggressive with male dogs. got him done and he has been brilliant i dont have any problems with him now and he is very submissive now. but it has not affected his working either he slowed down a bit which aint a bad thing as he can be extremly quick. but i wouldnt look back now though. TaxiDriver
I think castrated labs can have a tendency to put on weight a little more so than normal.
