eagle eyes
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone knows of any straw baler shoots in the bristol area. My local shoots follow the 28 day rule and seem to fall on the same weekend. Steve

Been shooting there for a few years. Good layouts and very changeable. It's the Kingswood ground this weekend, so if you're coming from the M5 watch out for the road works diversion at Charfield Hill, might be worth coming from Wickwar instead. There's another good little shoot not far from Bristol at North Wraxall (off the A420 at the shoe, after the A46 junction) called the Valley Shoot. It's a good friendly little shoot and as a bonus they've got a tower (£2 for 10). They don't advertise so PM me for details. eagle eyes
I used to shoot at Bristol clay shooting but thought that there was a problem with the kingswood shoot at the moment. I shot at the valley last weekend, nice layout but the tower is bloody addictive. Steve Edited June 10, 2011 by eagle eyes

They won their case against Stroud council so the Kingswood shoot is back open, but with a restriction that shooting can't start until 10am and must complete by 1pm with a max of 50 shooters attending. I think Stroud council is trying to appeal but that will take a while.
