new to the flock Posted April 9, 2006 Report Share Posted April 9, 2006 took the lads out to the Stream last evening for some air. Didn't really expect alot as it was bloody cold out,and the fish were not up the streams last week. However there for about 5 minutes when the first rod goes...my youngest, (5), grabs it and after a 10 minute fight lands a 25 pound carp. Just putting that rod back in and number 2 rod goes again youngest is close so he grabs it and lands a nice cat fish. A lull in the action for around 10 minutes and then the next rod goes and the middle boy, (8), gets a turn...5minutes later and a nice 4 pound red nose sucker is landed. The just before we leave the last rod in the water goes off and the oldest, (11), lands a very nice pre spawn perch.
