Sharpshooter.123
Hi all, just a quick question. I'm 20 and have had my shotgun cert for 15 months and I'm now filling in my fac application. What are the chances of getting granted variation for a .22lr + mod, .17HMr + mod and a fac air rifle to start with thanks matt
kyska
Who knows mate, with such little info, age makes no difference, do you have land to shoot on? Any convictions? Drug/Alcohol problems? Mental health issues? Eplilepsy?
ajm1979
If you have good reason I'e land to shoot on go for it, I had my SGC for 18 months put in for .22lr & .22cf got them no problem then after 8 weeks put in variation for .17hmr aswell and got that. Sharpshooter.123
Thanks mate, how long does it normally take to go through??
ajm1979
with 600 acres you should be fine, have you got permission for fox aswell why not ask for .22cf like I did they can only say yes or no and will save you money putting in for a variation. Cumbria only took 3 weeks start to finish, unfortunately not all forces are as quick.
kyska
Thanks mate, how long does it normally take to go through?? Again, thats unaswerable really, its varies from force to force, mine took very little time, suffolk might take 8 months. Depends on workload and how many admin/FEO's they've sacked recently.
