hi, anyone shot or shooting the jack pyke pro sport english open at sporting targets wednesday through to sunday 19th june. :good:

A mate of mine shot this today, said it was a tough but very enjoyable shoot. If you look on the Sporting Targets website and scroll to the bottom there is a link to the "Live Leaderboard", not too many have shot it yet but I think Saturday is booked up.

The big fella George Digweed) is leading with a 95, he missed 4 on one stand but only 1 more over the remaining 13 stands :good::good:

After my mate's glowing report I wished I'd booked the day off and gone down with him, in fact I wish I'd shot this in place of the Classic :o :o

Jack Pyke is about the same difficulty as 2010, but different clays. I shot it Wednesday and was happy with the outcome. I ref'd three squads today and 1 shooter out of the 16 shooters thought it was boring and too easy. I would suggest it was pretty goood without any stupid targets.

Full day tomorrow (Sunday) of shooters and I'll be ref'ing again.

Goody bag contained hat, ear plugs, knife in shape of 12g cartridge, handwarmer, catalogue and of course the bag itself.

Best regards to all
