The Essex Hunter
I picked up an old style Deben ferret locator at a boot sale for £5.00, it was in the original box, but not working so, the seller said. He told me it was the switch and the bit that fell out was in side. After trolling through the various web sites and a bit of detective work the switch is from the transistor radio era, so I logged on to a vintage radio web site and one chap recognized the switch, and dug around in his spares box and pop it in the post FOC. Works a treat. It was slightly different but went in just the same on the board, so well worth a punt and a bit of fiddling. TEH

The Essex Hunter
Thank you Rob ha ha, Quick up date….as I have become the world authority on these switches! I went around the boot sale Sunday and brought two cheap radios at £1.00 each. And look what is in side! You can’t beat having spares.
