Anthony
Please can you give me any information on this gun in terms of reliability, consistency etc etc What are Beretta semi autos like for pigeon shooting?
ernyha
Anthony I use a beretta 391 for pigeon shooting (see pictures) and previously used the 304. I find they are a great pigeon gun and very reliable. Have a couple of friends who use the 301 and they swear by them. Best of luck
dodeer
I know a chap who has a 303 berreta semi auto and cleans it about once a year even thoughs he fires 3000+ each year. It's reliable as the day he got it.Cycles 28gr - 50gr carts and doesnt recoil that much.
Anthony
Nice guns ernyha, I hope that the beretta's shoot as well as they look. One thing that does look good are the cammo dipped berettas. Do they dip them in advantage timber or realtree hardwoods green patern, or would I have to resort to dipping them at Hydrographics. Does the 301 look similar to the Al391?
Columbus Polumbus
I have a 391 which I use for both wildfowling and pigeon shooting its camo (only one they had) and I had to drop the comb as I was shooting over the top but you get all the bits an bobs to do the job and it is easy to do. I loooooooove it its a great piece of kit.
berettaboy
I've got a beretta 301 I use for pigeon shooting. I bought it second hand for £300 and it's never given me a problem. If you don't mind the strange multichoke collar then it's an excellent gun for decoying. I bought the trap version but I can shoot pigeons better with it than my sporting 687. And for the money I paid you don't mind taking it down to the marsh. regards BB
