Dunkield
What were the scores for you two? I have heard it can be a bit 'challenging' so I am interested to hear how you fared.

Shot better than at last months Churchills evening shoot for a confirmed 69x100. i.e. no freebies..! Well, maybe a rabbit that I thought I'd missed but was given. Ben can say what he shot..! Lots of very long loopers seemed to be the order of the day. Can't have been that tough as top score when we left was 99x100... Herts was well represented with Trevor and Cheryl both on 90x100. huffhuff
Yep, cracking layout. Some really good testing birds. Great grounds too (apart from the thunder flies - but I won't hold that against you). The car park was chock-a-block when we got there around 11.30am. Great shoot for £30! It was over 12 stands too, so a good selection of birds. A mix of everything really, some shot over water, one stand you shoot from up on a platform. Lot's of tricky woody shots. Some nice and open. The size of the ground and the variation in birds was very good. I actually preferred it to Churchill's if i'm honest. They also had trappers at each stand (maybe only on CPSA registered days?!?). I think Nik was given a kill when it was the tree stump that killed it - but hey ho. What's one point between friends (would have been a different story if it was one point between us at the end). He shot well for a sick puppy! My score? I don't remember... but I am in a transition period trying to kick 5 years of bad habits ok, jeeeeez!! Cheers Steve, a good day. I will add your dates to my calendar if you don't mind?!?
