jef Posted July 9, 2011 Report Share Posted July 9, 2011 I've just been this morning and had my cocker bitch mated. The stud dog is experienced and it all went swimmingly. They were tied for a good half hour. Just how important is it that I go back in a couple of days for another go? I did wonder if we were too early as it was only day 11/12 of bleeding but I had been told that if the bitch wasn't ready she wouldn't stand, which she did without issue.
