chapperz1991
Today i just bought my first 4x4! Well its a dinky little thing lol but it's what i can afford at my age (insurance is still £1700) Like the topic title says its's a 1999 T reg suzuki vitara jx, 74000 on the clock, over all vgc, few bits here and there, rear bumper, holes in the front wing. I'm going to give it the once over to be on the safe side, cambelt, filters, transmission oils. Just wondering where people get their spares from? Filters etc are easy but repair panels, bumpers, exhaust etc? I await your replies Paul.
TaxiDriver
Check inner wings carefully, no repair panels available unless you buy genuine inner wing for £400 (yeah right) If you supply the chassis number most parts can be obtained from most motor factors. Thelongwayup
Also have a look under the plastic sill covers for rust. Bad for it there! If they are shot price up having 100 x 100 box section steel welded in. Perfect for jacking up on and using as rock sliders to protect the doors too.
