remmy1100
well all started few days ago a farmer said i could have a days shooting on his land ,so i turned up this morning and walked round a bit ov farm, he made a point of telling me he wanted magpies shot and rabbits..hadnt walked 50 yards along hedge when heard some distressed blackbirds quick scan with rangefinder and spotted a magpie eating a chick .that was his last meal , then spotted few magpies down side of small wood in distance heading towards me so quickly pegged magpie out over remains ov chick few minutes later they arrived and swooped in another one accounted for. the rest flew off but one settled on stump quickly checked range (101 yds) allowed holdover and third one hit the dirt.then after 5 mins a crow landed near where i had magpie out so bagged him also....collected up everything and set off around field by this time was it was red hot.got near a small wood and spotted 3 rabbits out at range ov 74 yds took the shot and bagged 1st rabbit rest bolted managed another nearby within 5 min ...was plenty more rabbits about but grass was too high just saw them running through.returned to farm house to thank farmer for the day and he was over moon with my bag as was his wife she hates magpies told me he wanted me to come shoot again gave me written permission too shoot and drive around land with my quad ,and that he was cutting silage tommorrow so id be too get at rabbits.:good:popped into my firearms office on way home ,and lovely lady took copy of letter then added new permission to my file and re printed my certificate on new paper they are now using .cracking day
