rjimmer
The deer slayer barrel is an excellent addition as it is rifled instead of smooth bored, and as a rule will only improve accuracy. ........I would suggest that you fire a couple of boxes $15.99 Cdn of slugs through your barrel and then make a decission. If the Deerslayer barrel is rifled, then we would not be allowed to have it in the UK. Semi-auto and slide action rifles are banned. I would have to get my Firearm Certificate varied before I could buy/use solid slugs. Friends of mine who used solids, said that 8 inch groups at 100 yrds were the norm, but that has improved in recent years according to your posts.
