rcooke25552
How do you stop slugs going in the kennel. I tend to let my cocker have run of the garden in the evening and leave her kennel open so she can get in and out etc, but when I come back there seems to be slugs just inside the door. I know the simple option is shut the door but I don't want to have too. Any solutions?

rcooke25552
Do you find a similar issue Kent?
mick miller
I didn't know that. Sorry. Gardeners sometimes use copper strips, don't know if that would work? Shouldn't be a problem for the dog.
JR1960
Yep, strip of copper in front of the kennel ought to do it, gardeners swear by it. But it aint cheap, especially as copper's at an all time high price at the moment.

mick miller
Split and flattened plumbing pipe is what my grandad used to use but that was tacked on around butts and frames. But you can buy strips with adhesive back online.
