RC Sipe Prestige

Recommended Posts

Following recommmendations on PW I bought some of these to try recently and so far I'm underwhelmed. I found the recoil through my Beretta game gun unacceptably heavy but they're OK through my 303 semi. They also seem very noisy.

Have shot a few boxes now and without exception the ends of the fired cases look as though they haven't opened fully. I've never come across this with other cartridges to this extent, the ends of the fired tubes are oval and look as though they've been pinched hard between finger and thumb. Obviously not gun related as I've used two different guns. I'd appreciate some advice from those who use these cartridges as to whether this is a feature of these shells or do I have a dodgy batch?

Many thanks in anticipation.

rc sipe are very punchy cartridges, great performance in speed and shotsize (italian shotsizes, .5 - 1 shotsize bigger).

with nthe added speed, often can recoil more. however still one of the "best" cartridges on the market.

Agree with Cook. Fantastic cartridge. Really hard hitting. The plastic wad versions are awesome, but I'm virtually 100% fibrewads nowadays. Shame they made them in yellow though, which can be confusing from the 20 bore perspective.

Certainly rate these up with the black golds, but have swung more towards the black golds of late.

Snipe.
