  1. Hi all, hopefully someone can help me out here. I was in the field yesterday and my Xtrema2 malfunctioned. Just wouldn't fire. I stripped it down this morning and can see that the issue is basically around the bracket that hits the firing pin. Looks like a piece has sheered off what I believe if the Trigger leaver? Anyone familiar with the schematics able to clarify if anything else looks amiss? I also have an Extrema1 so stripped that down to compare. The Xtrema1 has a hammer brace, but I don't think the 2 does? Hence why there are two holes that are redundant? Thanks, Snipe.
  2. Hi, after a reasonably priced (secondhand) blued / colour hardened action Beretta 20 bore if anyone has one. Preferably 28 inch barrels with multichoke being a must. I believe it will either be a silver pigeon V or a silver pigeon C. Thanks, Snipe.
  3. Does anyone have a set of Optima Plus Teague chokes for sale please? For a 12g. Going to be used on a Beretta Xtrema2. Thanks, Snipe.
  4. I don't think you understand that you're posting in the wanted section, either that or you have just not read my post. Snipe.
  5. Looking for a project. Looking for a Beretta 20 gauge O/U. Specifics: 1. Has to be multichoke. I don't care about barrel length. 2. Barrels, metal work, and mechanics has to be in great order. 3. Wood; can be modified, left or right handed etc. I don't mind. Stock could be split, damaged etc. totally fine as I am going to replace all the wood (hence the project). 4. Ideally a 687, but 686 also considered. 5. Price will depend on condition etc. but looking at £750 max. Thanks a lot, Snipe.
  6. Thanks both, that worked a treat. I put some grease behind the head, as advised, then kept screwing into the micro core section, which then hid the screw heads in the pad. Perfect. Thank you very much. Snipe.
  7. Hi, does anyone have experience of fitting a Beretta micro core recoil pad please? I have got one along with the correct screws and am fitting it to a new stock that I'm working on. However, I am uncertain as to how deep the screws should be fitted. Specifically whether I should still see the head of the screws or if they should be screwed in to a point where the essentially vanish into the pad? Thanks, Snipe.
  8. Thanks Panoma1, but found them through a Beretta retailer. Thanks for your time and offer anyway. Snipe.
  9. Hi. I have recently purchased a Beretta micro core recoil pad for a silver pigeon 20g. However, no screws supplied and Beretta store showing out of stock. Does anyone have a couple I can purchase please?
  10. Good shout. Thank you and thanks for your help and insight. Searched retailers for them, no one showing stock. Typical.
  11. I did and have. They are out of stock and they cannot tell me when they will be back in stock. Not great. Crazy that they don’t come supplied with suitable screws.
  12. Hi, hoping someone can help please. I have just replaced the stock on my beretta silver pigeon 20g. I purchased a Beretta micro core recoil pad for it, but it does not come supplied with screws. Beretta sell them, but they’re out of stock. Any idea what I need as I just have an image to work from, so no idea of length, screw size etc. And can probably source something off the shelf. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot. Snipe.
  13. Hi, I am picking up this air rifle tonight (very excited), but it does not come supplied with a moderator/silencer. Could anyone recommend a suitable one for me please? Perhaps someone with experience of this air rifle in particular. It's a .22 model. Thanks a lot, Snipe.
  14. Exactly, Fortune. I would have preferred if 'Tricka' had been honest and said he could no longer continue with the purchase, at least then I could have sold it others that were waiting. Anyway, let's hope that karma works wonders in return... On a more positive note the gun has now been sold and funds received from a very genuine seller who could not have been any easier to deal with Snipe.
  15. Gun still for sale if any further interest. All those previously interested have now been contacted without commitment. I am willing to cover RFD postage costs my side, which may help some of you. Thanks, Snipe.
  16. Sadly I have been totally messed around by forum member 'Tricka', so gun now back for sale! He gave me a 100% guarantee on the sale but then no payment, no response and just rejects my calls when it came to finalising the deal... Will respond to next in line and keep interested parties updated Snipe
  17. Thanks a lot DaveWH100 As a further note to sale; I am willing to RFD to RFD. Snipe.

  19. Sorry to hijack, but this is happening with my Beretta Xtrema. I bought some 'hunting' extended chokes, which seem to pattern very well and I'm very happy with them. However, I do have to keep checking them and from time to time I will find that between a few shots it has loosened up a bit. What's the score? any remedies beyond superglue?! Snipe
  20. Well, it turned out pretty good. Got to the field for around 11am on Saturday. I was a bit late so didn't get a chance to pick up a dead lamb for the pattern. Found a load of sheeps wool instead and clumped that into the middle of the decoy pattern, which seemed to work a treat. Shot until 4pm, but they really started to wise up by then. Tried changing the decoy pattern a few times, took down the bouncer etc. but nothing really worked. Anyway, got 31 for 56 shots by this time so decided to call it a day. Took a drive around and found some more patches of corvids on neighbouring fields, so decided to go back up yestderday for a few hours. Got 15 for 22 shots from the first field then 9 for 14 shots on the second field. Not bad for around 3 hours shooting. Ended the weekend with 55 corvids (mainly carrions), which the farmer was over the moon about - he lost some 30+ lambs to them last year!! :o Will get back on them over the next 10 days or so with a little luck. Snipe.
  21. Was wondering about the amount of decoys, and that does make sense, as it's more of a confined feeding pattern, basically. Thanks for that. Diolch 'bardd trwm o dan bridd tramor'. Snipe.
