retromlc
I've had too many bad days, will probably have one today again, but the most annoying day was I set up about a month ago ,about 2 fields to cross to get to,pigeons were coming in good and started well.after about 30 mins i could hear a tractor working in the first field I'd gone through, this was interferring with the flight line but as it moved alone it's line they sorta come back, then it moved to the firld behind me and I realised it was muck spreading but it smelt really strong.I went to ask him how long he'd be and I decided to stay, but the flight line was gone so I packed to leave, realising i was wearing a brand new pair of £120 boots I'd bought that week.I had to walk through the muck and my boots stank for about 3 weeks, gutted. Wish I had the chance to have a bad day .I have been to 9 local farms and been rejected asking for shooting. I am doing the things you should like being friendly , showing documents and taking interest in the farm . But to no avail. Nearly all had shooters they said , and were snide out with rabbits . Must be me I look dodgey !!

Keep trying mate even go back to the same farms and point out the amount you have seen rabbit, pigeon and just say maybe they need to add 1 more gun to lower the problem as the guns they have carnt keep up with the numbers it's a nice way of saying the people they have are ****. Good luck
