Do you have more permissions than you can handle or do you need a hunt

Hi, im brand new to this forum so i thought id give this topic a go. Ive been trying everyday for the last 2 months to get a permission to hunt but still no luck.

i was wondering if anybody in the northwest has a permission they either dont need (because you have loads) or are giving up that i could take over.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

What's your location as the northwest is a big area.

Ha good point, i live in the greater manchester area but im willing to travel a bit

Check out your Local Air Gun Clubs - as will often find that Members have sorted most Air Gun Vermin Shoots

 

Aware that several of my Members @ Lea Valley have most of local Shoots

 

And have been known to take Safe and Good shots along with them

thanks for the advice, im a member of Dukinfield Gun club so ill ask about there, its so annoying because i practice all the time and im really accurate at 35-40 yrds, spent a hell of a lot of money on clothing accessories etc and not to mention a new pcp rifle and i cant even get out to hunt ha...typical

We have all been there mate,keep at it and you will get some land to shoot on,the first is always the hardest but once you have it under your belt it can lead to alot more.

 

My first shoot was a VERY small paddock with 2 warrens in it,i shot that for about 2 months and the landowner was so pleased with what i was doing they recomended me to there friend who had problems with rabbits in her paddock,that then lead to the woods that i have permision to shoot etc etc.

 

Having insurance can be a big help in gaining a shoot to,it shows you are responsible and serious about what you do.

You correct it i typical, thousands in same posision. Consider its way easier to get shooting with shotgun and other powder burners. Weird realy but getting into a small rough shoot, wildfowling club, gun pack, pay for the day stalking or similar will practically garantee you airgunning permisions comming in. Shooting at a range with others of you type or asking for someone who has too much shooting on a shooters forum is rarely gonna get you what your looking for. Failing that start tapping on doors
