kippylawkid
Had a full day pass from the better half so set off looking for pigeons. My first choice field had been blagged by a local "gentleman" who just sets up where he sees birds without getting permission Decided to set up on rape stubble that had a bit of traffic. Picked up 32 for the day with a l&r at corby crows. birds decoyed well and shot decently all day. Highlight though was a roe fawn walking up to the hide and peering through the netting and going nose to nose with my dog. It was hilarious when the fawn suddenly realised something wasn't right and shot off like the proverbial scalded moggy! Wish I had it on film. Not a massive bag but very enjoyable all the same. jez28
Good stuff, sometimes just seeing the wildlife is better than being stuck indoors!

kippylawkid
Yes, unfortunately this bloke just rocks up, sees a promising field and sets up without gaining any sort of permission. If he is then challenged he pleads all innocence and blags his way out of it. This time of year the majority of farmers are chasing their tails so he gets away with it. Very, very annoying but what can you do
