Ratman2 Posted August 28, 2011 Report Share Posted August 28, 2011 the jeep engine which is the vm motor is also fiited in rover 800, range rover classic and early fronteras ok till they go wrong Yes the early diesel Fronteras used the VM engine, even getting to the starter motor was a major job. jacksdad Posted August 28, 2011 Report Share Posted August 28, 2011 Bought my 17 year old Frontera Sport for £300 standard apart from huge Camac Terra 4x4 tyres. I lifted it 2" and was a cracking off roader after that, very easy to work on, nothing to go wrong! Had electric windows, power stering, elec mirrors, plus a removeable sunroof and all the back glass and roof come out, as stated a great shooting truck.
