FalconFN
Hi , I'm new 2 the world of air rifles , An just bought my first air rifle Welcome to the world of air rifles! The best pellet is the one that gives you tighest groups, usually a domed lead pellet (don't be tempted in getting anything other than domed lead pellets - pointed, bullet-shaped or any other gimmick - thet won't perform as well). I would suggest trying JSB exacts or Air Arms field (both made by the same company), they are good quality and very popular with hunters and target shooters for good reason. FalconFN
Cheers FalconFN , are accupell any good ? Yes, they are pretty good and they have many fans so give them a go and see for yourself. It is worth comapring them with JSBs though, just to see any differences. durbsguy
Accupell work well in my guns, but if you can get your hands on JSB express work just that much better.

flukeyluke
Ive used accupells for years and there a very good accurate pellet, some barrels dont like them but most will, they are a bit dirty though but have been great out of all my rifles including my r10. Going to try some HandN pellets next, there an expensive pellet(around £20 a tin in my local rfd) but ive heard good things about them so will give them a go. peek-at
Jsb exacts and air arms field are the same pellet just labelled up diferently so dont buy both. No one has said it yet so I will....... you may find that despite recommendations that a particular pellet is good, your rifle barrel may just not like it and may prefer another. So buy a few different ones and try them out to see which gives you the better grouping. you may want to try H&N field target trophy pellets also. cheers
FalconFN
Jsb exacts and air arms field are the same pellet just labelled up diferently so dont buy both. No one has said it yet so I will....... cheers They are made by the same company in the same factory but I believe they are from slightly different moulds - I could be wrong though. I have compared AA with JSB (4.51 and 4.52 sizes) and have found the JSB 4.52 have the edge in accuracy and cositency, although the difference is pretty small.
