BenBhoy
hey fellas. when i was living back in wales i did a bit of foreshore wildfowling but since moving to midlands that obviously a no go and i kinda forgot about it. but reading everyones posts lately about inland flight pond and river shooting has got me interested again. there are a few stretches of water near me, some ponds and some tributaries leading to the trent. but im a complete novice in this sport. how do i go about finding out who, if anyone has sporting rights to a stretch of water? how do you usually approach? are most part of a club, or offer some payment to the landowner? edit - does anyone have contact details for the erewash & trent valley wildfowlers club? any advice much appreciated. TJ91
ask the farmers who own the land running upto the rivers majority of the little ponds inland near me are part of syndicates/estates land and alot of the river bank shooting rights are bought up by the rich folk who never shoot it!
