ATB Alan Thanks alan, I will get some tomorrow . Mine is the plain metal action with the gold "Lanber " engraved across it . What do you clean your barrels with ? I use Browning gun oil which seems to do a good job . Cheers
Gutty Boots
Sounds odd I know, but toothpaste rubbed in circular motions will also work.

Cheers Hi I use Hoppes for cleaning my barrels and always have done for as long as I can remember, if its really cruddy I use for a first pass WD40 then Hoppes but you have to watch you clean all the WD40 off your outside of the barrels or it will mark the blueing. apache
Go on ebay and get a fibreglass pencil. Very fine abrasive that cleans the engraving better than anything I have tried. Cheap too
