Davva
if anyone knows of some land, then that would be great. I know of some land, you don't need permission, and it's available 7-days-a-week, has a couple of decent traps too: http://www.ashcombeadventure.co.uk/clay_pigeon.php
brett1985
^ very true^ but it will cost more than just using some land and our own launchers............ and i think it mght be a little out of the way for a couple of people! we've been thinking about trying to get it around roche, bodmin etc.
smilersmiff
Anything happening on this ? I also shoot at Watermeadow on a regular basis and think that if another venue cannot be found we should go there.

I live in Somerset but i`d be happy to travel to the Devon/Cornwall border. The way this is going maybe Devon and Cornwall should have their own seperate meets. Alan I normally shoot out by st million, but i can only shoot there with my mates! Mostly do rough shooting and occasionally shoot clays there too!! I need some where else to shoot as well as they don't go out very much as they both have gun dogs they are training!! Happy to meet up, can arrange a shoot down lower lake or cart ridge if we haven't got our own permission

rabbit_stu
There really understaffed but if you ring them, super helpful. Once i said i had something book, it was rushed through. I rang again yesterday to get some land cleared i posted to them over a month ago, again it was in the pile, but he dug it out and did it whilst i was on the phone
marnold
Hi rabbit_stu - great news. I have been waiting for mine since Nov 12th - I rang on Wednesday and they said that it had an expiry of 2017 and that I should get it soon - but couldn't pin them down. Who do you speak to may I ask? I always seem to get to the main desk and never any further!
rabbit_stu
mine expires the date that i recieved it so dont worry about that. I depend who answers tbh, couple of times i just got a grumpy 'no, no news yet,' but then last week was an enthuiastic woman who more than ready to help. Ring today, say your booked for a lesson in two sundays time and you really wanted to use you own shotgun, which is waiting with the seller. All i said, which was true may i add, and it got to me in two working days best of luck
