M.I.A
Hi, i have been out today and bought a brand new Hatsan Escort Magnum I was informed by the shop owner that they are steel proofed, and it has the fleur de leyes proof mark. Its proofed to 1200KG/CM2 Can i use any steel carts in this? Thanks
Markio
All carts are fine. I went through all sorts of hassle figuring this when i got my Escort Pump as the 1200KG does not convert to the BAR pressures quoted on the high performance carts. In short (after much research, most of which no doubt someone will poo poo) i believed this 1200KG to be the manufactures spec, whereas after import the guns are then tested and marked accordingly (with the fleur de leyes) once they have passed the high performance steel test in this country. The final factor that helped me put this question to bed was that the same 1200KG spec is set out for the 3.5" Escort guns of which are just about all are destined to put to use with high performance steel loads, and no one's been killed my one yet, let's face it, they have to cycle the cart and go bang before that can happen!
