hi all, ive got a 10g greylag that has a really nasty stock and forend. their in good nick but seem to be finished in some sort of orange tan coloured varnish. i was going to get them refinished but im not sure how to get the stock off??. ive taken off the butt pad and theres no hole running down stock for the retaining bolt/screw????.

am i missing somthing?.

cheers, steve.

I know my side by side bolts together at the action with nothing running through the stock. One bolt on the release catch one on the trigger gaurd ?? May be worth having a look there if there is no stock bolt :good: wouldn't know with the gun you mention though

My kestrel 10g was the same....see the big bolts in the below...it needed a fair pull to get the stock off once the bolts were out....
