Dekers
Ok, I shoot a few foxes every year, and the majority are relatively close, commonly under 100 yards, that is a result of the land, job, survey and planning/preparing! Certainly a number go out further, and sometimes over 200 yards, but not that often, they will tend to be the opportunist fox when I have the right tool in my hands. When actively seeking a fox I can almost always arrange to take them very close, 30-50 yards commonly. All land, sites, topography is different of course, so this will change for different people, I'm just curious as to the distance you think you take MOST! yankeedoodlepigeon
My friend try to shoot a lot of foxes out to 325m was his longest claim. That is till I got my range finder and had a look on google maps. Turns out most are shot under around 100m or less.
Dekers
Very similar thread/poll here I'm not convinced, that's why I started this one...... I regularly shoot foxes out to 200 yards but I shoot by far the most under 100yards! Edited September 24, 2011 by Dekers
