Davyo
Might be a good time to go out asking for permissions in the Northumberland area.Did anyone see the news this morning, it was mentioned that a farm in Bedlington had about 20 sheep go missing. The news recons its down to rustlers cashing in on the hard times. Was just thinking 'farmers might want some eyes & ears on the ground'
BenBhoy
always worth a try mate, though speaking as someone who works sheep, there every chance the farmers will be ever more guarded and cautious just who they let on their land, for all they know you could be someoen casing the joint and getting an idea of their daily routine. Davyo
I would assume that anyone asking for permissions would or should produce their licence & basc membership(or other insurance) when they ask a landowner for permissions.I could understand a farmer being nervous of anyone who didn't.Personally i wouldnt think of asking without being able to proove id. Shotgun cert, photo driving licence &liability insurance i carry at all times.
