TaxiDriver
Certain amount of snobbery in the gun world same as any other. If you have/maintain realistic expectations of what you'll get for your money and it fits your budget, and you're not banking on high resale values, - then why not. leeds chimp
I looked at the puma aswell before I got my CZ... Had a go with a friends puma and it jammed on the 4th shot...he said its prone to jams and the grouping were even worse... We had a little comp when I got my CZ and it blew it out of the water and his kept jamming and even the gunsmith said nothing he can do
leeds chimp
better for your money if it had not gone already http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/182521-cz-cz-style-22-lr/
rapid12
cheers chaps. i decided not to buy the puma and opted for a decent cz 452. at least i know what to expect with this gun. i will say though the puma rifle does look great. may buy after more people have tried and tested.. :yp:
Alpha Mule
I have only shot a BRNO (owened by Steve_B) and the CZ I bought from Gary H. However: I did 2 'find the target' (of an A4 sheet) shots after fitting my scope, 4 shots later I had cut the 'X'. The next 5 went through a hole I can cover with a 20p coin. I have no idea how Pumas perform, but the BRNO/CZs are the dogs danglers! These are supposedly rather tasty too Edited October 9, 2011 by Alpha Mule
remy 700
Hi , having owned a brno that was superb , I daftly sold it and then bought a ruger 10/22 shot like a pig , then a marlin , big mistake as the extractor was worn , could not even get a new one from edgar bros for at least 4 months so back to the rfd (luckily) and I bought a cz 452 back to square 1 , never had a problem and it was a bosher bargain! The moral to the story is brno/cz all the way or poss a tricked up 10/
