crowcaller
a good mate and me had a walk on saturday, it was steady drizzle but as we had it planned all week we said sod it lets go. the first walk produced 2 hen pheasents , then a spud field a grey partridge, we had seen 3 big coveys but taking off out of range after a tea break we went to another farm we walked some rough ground and got a cock bird then some stubble, but again 4 coveys out of range another spud field and we had another partridge we called it a day on the game birds with 3 pheas. and 2 partridge. we finished with a duck flight and got 4 mallard apigeon and a maggie so eleven for the day . and considering the weather the birds all flew well. anser2
Game shooters may scorn , but thats what I call a good rough shooters bag. Half a dozen birds each , each shot worked for and remembered and despite the weather a enjoyable day.
