lamm
Ok so took certificate, insurance documents around about 20 farms in Angus today and got knocked back from each one. Really quite soul destroying to be honest. Got the same answer each time "already got guys mate" am now really starting to struggle for permissions I have my syndicate land but that's not exactly pigeon heaven. Got any advice
pigeonblasterian
Just keep asking. It might be best to wait till you see pigeons on the land attacking the crops. Then go and ask if you can have a go at them. You will get the knockbacks but you might get lucky as well. weejase
I never ask to shoot the pigeons as farmers must get hit with that one all the time and as you said they usually have guys for that already Ask to shoot the crows Instead I`ve had a couple of farmers say that they have guys shooting the pigeons but you are welcome to do the crows

sitsinhedges
Or just ask for pest control, whatever needs attending to

lamm
Thanks guys my approach was never just for pigeons and was using "pest control" as a general approach I'll keep at it the pigeons should be flocking soon and really hitting the vast amount of rape that's in at the minute so will try again and pick my moments when it's clear to see that they are getting hammered from speaking with pals it also seems that cash is changing hands for the privilege which I really want to avoid considering what i already pay for the syndicate
