Guest super-pedant
No, it means you have 30 minutes adjustment. That is 15 mins either side of zero. 1 minute is roughly 1 inch at 100 yds, 2 inches at 200 yds ....... So 15 mins will give you 45 inches of windage at 300 yds. Should be more than enough. yankeedoodlepigeon
Thanks gixer. will it allow for a 30ft windage at say 100yds and is it 30ft either way or 15ft either way? Thanks again
gixer1
If the symbol is a ' after a number it would usually indicate feet though.... Not sure what the symbol is for MOA... EDIT - the sign for minutes is infact also - ' ....and also " apparently... Regards, Gixer Edited November 1, 2011 by gixer1
ChrisAsh
Think logically you are only able to measure a angle or part of a circle of 360 degrees each degree contains 60 minutes ' and each minute contains 60 " just like a clock Therefore you can use trig to calculate the value at any distance of i-15 minutes of arc Hope this helps

Regards, Gixer ° = degrees of arc ' = minutes of arc " = seconds of arc There are 60 seconds of arc (") in one minute of arc ('), and 60 minutes of arc in one degree. Hope that helps.
