Billy.
If you're on about rimfire ammo, just put 500/1000. You might as well buy an amount which is divisible into your hold amount (if you only buy in bricks, that is) If you put down for expanding, you can still buy target ammo. So just write expanding next to the ammo box and you'll be fine. Worst comes to worst, your FEO will ask you to reduce it when he comes for a visit. When mine came round, I asked to up mine and he just scribbled out the amounts and upped them for me

pigeon street
i Have 500 buy 600 store. I didn't ask for expanding but the FEO put it down anyway. if you put down pest control on the ticket i suppose its Obvious that you need expanding
Billy.
i Have 500 buy 600 store. I didn't ask for expanding but the FEO put it down anyway. if you put down pest control on the ticket i suppose its Obvious that you need expanding I wouldn't ever leave it to the FLD to guess if you need expanding ammo. It might be obvious to you, but the girls who do the paperwork have better things to do than chase up if you made a mistake forgot to put 'expanding'. I've seen a few people on here who got their ticket back without expanding ammo, because they assumed that the FLD would put it on... It's just a massive delay, because you'll have to send your ticket off - probably not that good if you've already waited six months, so you'll go to the bottom of the pile.
