andy_s
I've just bought a 52 plate Disco and I now can't open the boot. I opened it a few times before but I've just tried to open it again and it won't open. I've tried locking it and unlocking it but no joy. Don't know if I've pressed something I shouldn't have. Any ideas anyone?

Rushjob
Broken / weak spring on the mechanism - climb into rear, open door using handle inside, remove trim panel & it's up in the top nearside corner. Went on my Y plater, 2 minute fix. HTH
atf
happened to mine common fault, pop the land rover badge off the back door handle surround & drench the handle mechanism in wd40 leave for 10 mins then it should work. atf
andy_s
It just started working again the next day without doing anything to it. I think I'll take the badge off tomorrow and give it a spray of WD40 anyway. Cheers for the replies.
