Ballymac
Was reading about a cross border strategy to eradicate wild boar from Ireland. It got me wondering if anyone has seen any. Quote below from the article The National Biodiversity Data Centre says wild boar died out in Ireland more than 5,000 years ago. However, in recent years the species has been found in Kilkenny, Roscommon, Tipperary, Wexford and Wicklow Also last year there was talk of hunters releasing muntjac or chinese water deer in the Wicklow area. Anyone from these areas on here? Can you let me know if sightings are getting more frequent etc. Any seen as road kill etc.

All my family live in the clogher valley and wouldn't mind going over for some stalking.
