Royboy
Hi there i keep toying with the idea of booking a driven day at the Roeburndale shoot in the North west. Id be on my own as my mates are not intrested in booking on with me. So i was wondering if this was normal for people to book on these type of days on there own or would people think im wierd ?? And would people there be friendly as id be a bit nervous as th last time i was on a driven shoot was a beaters day about 15 years ago ! The day is £170 in January and its a 60-80 bird day with a £25 overage ? Does overage mean its £25 for every extra bird shot over 80 or does this mean £170 for the day then £25 for every bird shot ? Thanks
Teal
Overage will be for every bird shot over the 80, and it will be split between the number of guns, so if there are 10 guns, each would only have to contribute an extra £2.50 per extra bird. Seems a decent deal for the day, increasingly shoots are selling individual guns, either to join a syndicate or for a completely mixed team. Obviously you have no guarantees of the other guns being safe or considerate, and sometimes people can get greedy on these days. But there is only one way to find out really. Royboy
Ye £2.50 its not bad ! I allways want to book on but end up bottling it. Would I have to wear all the top clothing ?
