what bait was he using terry?

Ive ordered a set of scales and measure for next year crayathon

although any meat from the fridge can be used, I think chopped up rabbit is good because of the blood released into the water, acting as an attractant

ask if he will come out again when I pop over for one last try...

Rabbit heads were a winner last time.

If they start to lose the taste in them, lift the net and lay it on the grass and step on the head to squeeze a few juices out.

Do these taste earthy? Not sure if there are any round here but got the R. Goyt at the bottom of my garden so could be interesting!

Definately not earthy, cross between prawn and lobster.

Make sure you only pull out the Signal Crayfish, I think in your part of the UK the Native crayfish are in residence
