..near side wing mirror.

Took a day off work to take the wife to an important appointment, decided to have a coffee when we got back to town, so parked in the multi storey where i completely misjudged the angle of the mirror to the concrete post

The worst thing is that she has had to be deprived of sleep for 24 hours before she went into hospital today and i was the one who went to sleep but she feels fine, well as much as you could be after being up that long, and i feel like a bag of poop, yawning, grouchy etc etc. Go figure

Well instead of catching it flat and pushing the mirror forwards i caught it on the edge and it just went crack

The plastic suround is salvagale but the glass went ping into little bits.

Any one got a glass at the least or a complete unit for a `96 LWB Vauxhall monerey / Isuzu trooper. ?????

I did this to my renault, and if the backing plate to the mirror is still fairly good, Halfords do neat replacement stick- on mirror glasses. They are sized for your individual car. All I did was clear away any loose bits of mirror, clean what was left with a bit of alcohol to get rid of any grease, then peel off the paper backing and carefully put the new mirror in place. You need to be careful with this, as it will not come off once it has stuck. The replacement looked exactly the same as the original, the only thing was that the heating element in the original mirror wasn't there, but I have heard that there are replacements out there with that in now. Good luck. :good:
